PayPal Fee Calculator

See how much PayPal keeps and what you receive. The default is PayPal Checkout's US domestic rate; edit the rate to match how you were paid, and switch on the international surcharge for buyers abroad.

How it works

PayPal charges a percentage of the transaction plus a fixed fee that depends on the currency. The percentage depends on the payment type: PayPal Checkout, card payments, Pay Later and goods-and-services transfers all have different rates.

If the buyer is outside the US, PayPal adds an international commercial transaction fee of 1.50% on top of the domestic rate.
