How it works
The referral fee is a percentage of the total sales price – the item price plus any shipping or gift-wrap charge, but not sales tax. Each item pays at least the minimum fee ($0.30 for the categories below).
"Per portion" tiers (Electronics Accessories, Furniture, Jewelry) charge the first rate on the part of the price up to the threshold and the second rate on the rest. "Whole price" tiers (Clothing, Beauty, Baby, Grocery) apply one rate to the entire price depending on which band it falls in.
